RVCA was an original idea from the brand’s founder, PM. Tenore. RVCA transcends the boundaries of traditional sportswear and is a lifestyle brand with design that is not influenced by fleeting trends. RVCA finds its place on the shelves of boutiques as well as local skate shops, created by a group of individuals from different subcultures with similar attitudes, a unique collaboration, and a lifestyle in itself.
From the beginning, PM. Tenore’s intent with RVCA was to create a platform that combines art, music, fashion, and modern lifestyle in an original way. At the forefront of this idea is RVCA’s Artist Network Program (ANP), an initiative designed to showcase the talents of established but unknown artists who inspire our generation and push the boundaries of creative excellence even further.
Established to promote the genuine integrity of subcultures, RVCA simultaneously gives back to the community. Essentially, RVCA is redefining how the market views art and fashion, representing it as the balance between opposites and how they coexist: water, oil, earth, air, destruction, industrialization, art, science, foreign, local, chaos, order, past, present.
For RVCA, what matters is the present, the future, and life as a whole. It’s about inspiring our generation by adding substance and culture, and above all, doing so with integrity and as one united family, a closely-knit community.
